Teacher Resource Pack
Our most popular support resource among educators, the Teacher Resource Pack features the following free instructional tools:
- The Implementation Guide is your go-to resource for understanding the learning design and pedagogy of PhD Science. It also includes tips for making instruction more efficient and effective.
- The Pacing Guides help teachers understand ways to customize science lessons to maximize science time and instruction. The Preparation Guides help teachers understand exactly how to plan and prepare for each lesson.
- The Materials Lists include all the materials needed for a lesson as well as guidance on the lessons that require advance preparation.
- The Family Tip Sheets outline the structure and content of each PhD Science module and help families support their student at home. Available in English and Spanish.

The K–5 Module Map and Learning Cycle is a visual layout of the scope and sequence of PhD Science Levels K–5 that presents science topics, anchor phenomena, standards correlations, core texts, and more.
The Curriculum Overview highlights the program's structure, components, and core attributes.
The Core Text Library details the core trade texts used in each grade level, as well as which PhD Science texts are used in other Great Minds® curricula.

The Need for High-Quality Science Instruction white paper explains why students need a high-quality science curriculum in the early years. It shares the data on the science instruction most young learners currently receive and makes the case for why they deserve better.
